LOUISA NEEDHAM

AGED 49 YEARS

 

Louisa Needham was born in Manchester in c.1816.

At the time of the 1851 census Miss Needham (36) was an infant school teacher in Lancashire, living alone at Hayle Lane, New Springs, Aspull.

By 1861 Miss Needham had moved down to Oxfordshire, and was lodging at Hockmore Street, Cowley. She was listed with no occupation.

By the time of her death in 1865, she had moved to George Street in central Oxford:

† Miss Louisa Needham died at George Street at the age of 49 on 1 October 1865 and was buried at St Sepulchre’s Cemetery on 4 October (burial recorded in the parish register of St Mary Magdalen Church).
